Microsoft for iPad - FREE

Take a trip to your App Store today.

A chance to get Microsoft Word for your iPad for free.

Lack of Technology Skills

Of recent the worst and most heart breaking comment I am hearing is "I've lost my job this year due to my lack of technology skills".

Teaching is now not only about the classroom experience that you have. It seems that getting that teaching job and keeping that teaching job is coming down to how good are your technology skills?

There is a need to understand that an iPad can be more than an instrument to search the internet.   It can be an educational and creative tool in the classroom.   The iPad and certain apps give you the ability as a teacher to be with more than one student at the same time.

Schools are investing in iPads but not offering any teacher development to go with the technology.

It is frightening to many of us to learn new technology skills. However it is becoming more of an essential skill each year in Education.
