iPAD TRAINING FOR EDUCATORS
This workshop is designed for the Teacher or Educational
Assistant wanting to make the most of the iPad as an educational tool. You will
learn methods of delivering technology lessons to students with ease.
DAY ONE:-
Discover some of the basics within the setting of the iPad
and how they can change your teaching strategies for pupils. Lots of nitty-gritties and tips to do with
iPad tools, including accessibility features for students with special needs
and learning difficulties.
We will expose you to the amazing world of augmented reality
and you will experience how to make it come to life in your classroom. We will show you how to teach your students
to create their own augmented reality and give their produced work another mode
of presentation.
Unearth a more effective way to make searching the web work
faster and easier in your classroom. There will be discussions about websites
that you will find useful for your students learning.
We will be hands on experiencing apps that deliver lessons
from your iPad to your student’s iPads.
Acquire the skills to teach your students how to produce
presentations with the iPad.
There will be
discussions about coding and what all the fuss is about. We will uncover how to begin to teach this
with an iPad.
DAY TWO:-
Discover apps that allow you to completing testing on iPads
with a printed out result sheet at the end of the lesson.
Acquire the skills to teach your students how to produce
books and movies with the iPad.
Experience apps to ease your workload. Apps that document student records, lesson
plans, seating arrangements, group organising and classroom management all made
easier with a few taps and swipes. Learn about apps that just make organising
working life in general a lot simpler.
Learn how to produce your own QR codes for your classroom
and realise the impact they can have on your lessons. There will be discussions and brief rundowns
about websites that you will find useful for your students learning.
Understand apps that are designed for students with learning
difficulties and special needs.
The apps you will be experiencing through a hands on
approach over the two day workshop will be covering various learning areas and
year levels.
